At Family Circle Homes, our primary goal is to cultivate a nurturing environment where children and

young individuals thrive in cleanliness, comfort, and safety, while being treated with utmost respect

and consideration for their unique needs and capabilities.

Oakland House specialises in providing residential care for male and female children and young

people aged 8 to 16 years old who may have complex needs including emotional needs, learning

disabilities and autism. They may have experienced family or placement breakdown, face challenges

that make foster placement difficult, have encountered homelessness, or possess refugee or

unaccompanied minor status, requiring additional support upon arrival in the country.

Our dedicated staff are committed to catering to each child's  individual requirements, ensuring the highest standards of care within Oakland House.

Our team will work in partnership with other services and professionals to help maximise each young person’s aspirations, goals and ambitions with full training being implemented to suit everyone. We endeavour to ensure every child in our care is provided with the chance to participate fully in the local community. Our organisation is dedicated to upholding exemplary standards of care that embody the core principles of Good Care Practice. 

These principles are demonstrated and assessed through the consistent delivery and

oversight of quality care within Oakland House.
